-OFFSITE -- lets go for a walk CM Wilson Conservation Area

We can meet Mark & Mariah at the Learning Centre building . Park in the Day Use area, just in front of the pond.  Coffee &  Washrooms are inside that building.

This will be a guided walk through C.M. Wilson Conservation Area to identify different plant species, their uses, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and their names in Anishinaabemowin. The purpose of this activity is to connect people to nature and learn the services provided by native plant life.

Mark will also introduce plans for upcoming changes in the site, formerly known as the Childrens Safety Village. Exciting news! 

CM Wilson Conservation Area is located in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, at 21799 Fargo Road, Charing Cross. Located 8.5 km south of Chatham.
