2024 Special Olympics -- CK is host city!

Chatham-Kent, and the Chatham-Kent Police Service will be hosting the 2024 Special Olympics Ontario School Championships between the 10th-12th of June 2024.

This exciting event will bring over 1,200 special needs athletes to Chatham-Kent to compete in multiple sports. Our local special Olympic athletes will be competing against others from all over the province during this event, and we are thrilled to see the return of the Special Olympic Games to Chatham-Kent for the first time since 1997.

We will be making our media announcement on June 14th 2023, however was looking for the opportunity to address the local rotary clubs regarding this event that will be coming quickly to Chatham-Kent
