Sunrise Rotary Land Acknowledgement
“We acknowledge that the lands on which we gather are the traditional lands of the Anishnaabeg Nation and the Three Fires Confederacy, It is also acknowledged that this area is now home to the Delaware Nation - the Lenape People.
The Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise shares the responsibility for the stewardship of the environment and we will work to build our shared love of this land and water. We are thankful for the opportunity to live, learn and share with mutual respect and appreciation.”
